Welcome to the SSC Phrasal Verb Series – Day 02 !

Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well and like the previous blog “Phrasal Verb Series For You Day 1“. We’re making our SSC study material more exciting by including examples, pictures, flashcards, quizzes, crosswords, and Memory Games in our SSC best Phrasal Verb series.

The city was overwhelming, and adjusting to the fast-paced life wasn’t easy. Arun often found himself feeling out of place, but he had to bear with the unpleasant reality of being away from his comforting village. Every day was a battle as he bore down on his studies, putting in maximum effort and energy, determined to overcome the hurdles.

Despite his dedication, Arun faced failures. The results didn’t bear out his hard work. His struggles were closely bearing on his health, and at times, he felt he couldn’t bear up under the pressure. But Arun wasn’t one to give up easily. He remembered his village and the sacrifices his family made to support him.

After many sleepless nights and constant efforts, Arun felt like he was breaking into a new phase of life—he suddenly began to understand difficult concepts that had once seemed impossible. But just as things were looking up, life broke in with another set of challenges. A sudden financial crisis at home almost made him quit and return to the village. It was as if every success he tasted was followed by a new obstacle breaking out unexpectedly…………

  • Synonyms: Carry off, Take away, Win

2. Bear With: किसी अप्रिय चीज़ को सहन करना

  • Meaning: Tolerate something unpleasant
  • Synonyms: Endure, Tolerate, Put up with

3. Bear Down: जी-जान लगाना

  • Meaning: Apply maximum effort and energy
  • Synonyms: Press on, Strive, Work hard

4. Bear Out: किसी चीज़ को सत्यापित करना

  • Meaning: Confirm the truth
  • Synonyms: Support, Verify, Confirm

5. Bear On / Upon: किसी चीज़ से संबंधित होना

  • Meaning: : Related or relevant to
  • Synonyms: Relate to, Impact, Concern

6. Bear Up: मुश्किल परिस्थितियों का सामना करना

  • Meaning: Withstand any difficulty
  • Synonyms: Endure, Cope with, Hold up

7. Break Into: अचानक कुछ शुरू करना

  • Meaning: Suddenly begin to do something
  • Synonyms: Burst into, Start

8. Break In: बाधा डालना

  • Meaning: Interrupt or disturb
  • Synonyms: Disrupt, Interfere

9. Break Out: अचानक फैलना

  • Meaning: Occur suddenly and unexpectedly
  • Synonyms: Erupt, Burst forth

In this Memory Game you have to remember picture used for the vocab.

We will not use options here for better understanding of phrasal verb
